DILEMMA

Tigers down in their might,
Is it not man's proclaimed right,
To pluck the flower he just so loved,

To clean himself n filthy the lake,
To kill them all while he is awake,
Staring down the pit as they are shoved?

And all who want to share with him,
Must play the game all by his whim,
For he shall always want to win.

Justifying the action by the fact,
That he played with a bit of tact,
Insuring his species is not a sin.

Then what is this conservation et al?
Laughing at someone just after a fall,
Make up his mind he must and choose.

A dilemma it is- to save or to sieve,
A simple answer is- do what you believe
Just two options exist- you win or you lose.

  1. What I mean is that it is the final objective of every species to ensure that its own kind continues to remain in this world, and possibly dominate. Looking at it that way, man has done pretty well and there is nothing to complain. But somewhere down the line, he has also wanted to preserve other beings so that they are not completely obliterated from the world. But he now has to choose- to save or to sieve. Doing both is not going to lead him anywhere.
